On behalf of the Championship Jury, I cordially greet all of you, dear participants, your leaders, soloists, accompanists, and wish you creative inspiration, fair and honest battle, the pleasure of performing in the wonderful acoustic halls of the Northern capital, as well as bright and memorable competitive performances in the name of Music, which gathered us all here and which is eternal!

I cordially greet all the organizers and guests, all parents, teachers and educators, all participants — adults, young people and children, all those involved in the Children and Youth Choral World Championship!

Time has shown that the choral championship excites great interest in this country, in the near abroad and around the world.

Unfortunately, our hard, ambiguous and controversial time does not let us expand the geography of the participants of this great festival of choral art, but the atmosphere of friendship and unity, warmth and sympathy, welcoming hospitality that prevails at the choral championship brings together the youth of the planet giving hope for a peaceful creative future.

Thanks to all organizations and parties that have contributed to and assisted in the arrival of choral groups to our championship.

Thank you for understanding that CHORUS is our reliable means to raise a C(H)ORDIAL person.

Success to each and every one!

Good luck in all your endeavors!

Colorful artistic impressions in the days of the Championship!

Dear friends!

It is for the sixth time that a young but bright star of the World Children and Youth Choral Championship lights up in the sky of choral performing art, once again opening its doors and welcoming guests. The championship has become a bright event in the cultural life of our city. It has united people of different ages, different nationalities and countries, amateurs and professionals.

As in the previous years, the concert halls will overflow with sounds and light up with smiles on the faces of listeners and performers. The most popular and democratic art form will once again make our hearts beat in time with the music and admire the skill of the choirs and the talent of their leaders.

I wish all the participants inspiration, creative success and victories! And let the star of the Championship shine on all its participants!

Sincerely, President of the Association of Conductors of Children’s and Youth Choirs of the North — West Region of the Russian Federation, Head of the City Methodological Association of Choir Leaders of Institutions for extended education of children, composer
